Chinyere Angela Onyemenam – Founder

Chinyere Angela Onyemenam is a highly experienced legal practitioner specializing in alternative dispute resolution. She holds a law degree from the University of Nigeria (1987) and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1988.

Beginning her career in the banking industry, Chinyere transitioned into legal practice and later joined National Oil and Chemical Marketing PLC as Assistant Company Secretary in 1991. During her tenure, she served in various roles within legal and human resources departments. In 1999, she was elected as an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), London, and earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Chinyere’s career evolved to include executive leadership as the Corporate Services Director at Bridgeways DPG Ltd./Bridgeways Global Projects Ltd., a diversified company engaged in real estate development, project and facilities management, franchising and manufacturing.

She is a certified civil, commercial, workplace and community mediator accredited by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and is registered with the Civil Mediation Council (UK) and the College of Mediators (UK). She is a trained family mediator working towards accreditation. Chinyere is a recognized neutral at the Lagos Multi Door Courthouse and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators Nigeria (ICMC). She also serves on the ICMC ODR Panel of Neutrals.

With a proven track record, Chinyere has mediated a broad spectrum of disputes across industries including banking, oil and gas, real estate, contracts, insurance, libel, aviation, and family disputes. She has also shared her expertise as a trainer for organizations such as the ICMC, the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, the Dispute Resolution Centre of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce, the Mediation Training Institute Nigeria, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the West Africa Network for Peace Building (WANEP).

In addition to her dispute resolution practice, Chinyere has a strong background in corporate governance and human resources management. Her entrepreneurial ventures have provided her with diverse insights into business operations, further enriching her approach to conflict resolution, negotiation, and peace-building.
